Parallel Sessions

This conference included 5 parallel sessions, wherein scholars from Sichuan University and other international institutes contribute their 8-10 minutes presentations. All sessions were well attended with periods of intensive after presentation exchanges, an indication of the scientific interest in the sustainable development, decision support systems, data science, project management and economic and social effects in the management science and engineering management sector. All participants who participated in the parallel session presentations received a presentation certificate.

Forum

This conference also included forum focusing on “Development Trends in Management Science in Engineering 2022” on Aug. 4.

At the forum, Prof. Ziqiang Zeng(China) presented a Scientific journal report announcement entitled “Development Trends in Management Science in Engineering 2022: Perspectives from Scientific Journal Report”. This presentation proposes a comprehensive journal evaluation approach, including literature mining, cluster analysis, and evaluation systems. A systematic perspective is proposed to consider journals in an academic environment with stakeholders including authors, institutions, and publishing platforms. A factor analysis-based entropy weight method is proposed to integrate the multidimensional information into 5 aggregated indicators and then transform them into a three-dimensional weighted influence factor coordinate system.

Experts from various academic areas then present their opinions on their areas of interest.

Finally, the audience gained knowledge from the experts' discussion and answered their doubts.

With seminar attendees, all talks were thoroughly discussed in detail, and scholars from China, the USA, Türkiye, Spain and so on are actively involved.
