It’s a great pleasure for me to declare open the Sixteenth International Conference of Management Science and Engineering Management and to welcome the participants from all over world who came here. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, it is sorry that we only be together virtually. 

I first wish to extend to you the greetings of Gazi University. It was this host, being responsible for the great conference organization. I wish to thank Prof. Fulya Altiparmak in particular for his contributions to this conference. Moreover, I honorably welcome our guest speakers Prof. Dr. Musa Yildiz and Prof. Dr. Serpil Erol. Many thanks to our distinguished guests for attending this conference!

It’s my hope that the 16th ICMSEM would be able to achieve its objective in providing an effective platform for academician, researchers, and practitioners to advancing knowledge, research and technology for the field of MSEM. More and more prestigious experts and scientists from all over the world are now attending the conference and sharing their compelling work in this field. Such a premier international platform provides the participants an opportunity to work together, communicate the newest ideas contributing to the MSEM development. We can see new findings emerging every year, which supply us tremendous opportunities to explore advanced methodologies and technologies for addressing the new challenges. I hope that everyone can find informative topics by communicating and discussing freely on this conference.

In the following two days, 14 excellent keynote speakers will share us with their latest researches or experience, (including Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hag Ali Hassan, Prof. Dr. Fausto Pedro García Márquez, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Ghini, Prof. Dr. Gheorghe Duca, Prof. Dr. Lev Benjamin, Prof. Dr. Alice E. Prof. Dr. Ziqiang Zeng). Welcome all of you, we all look forward to your great presentations. We hope all the participants enjoy this great online academic journey, share your wisdom and exchange ideas. Thanks for your support that make this conference a success.

Last but not least, my deepest gratitude goes to the Organizing Committee, ISMSEM, institutions, and staffs who have directly and indirectly supported the success of this seminar. The committee has organized a vibrant scientific program and is working hard to present highly respected and internationally notorious speakers to lead it.
